THE NEW HONDA FIT has been on sale in Japan since the end of last year, but don't complain about the United States having to wait until now to get the new car. After all, the first Fit was in production for the better part of five years before it hit our shores in 2006. Of course, it didn't matter that it was really "old," because it was new to us, and its arrival couldn't have come at a better time, with fuel prices punching toward USD3 a gallon.
