LONDON (ICIS)--Fuel oil stocks stored at the Singapore hub increased sharply by 7.7m barrels to end February at 30m barrels, 36% higher than the same time a year ago, OPEC said on Wednesday. Singapore is a key destination for European fuel oil, but exports had dwindled recently because of abundant supply in the east.

7. Commodity prices have risen sharply since 2006. This may benefit developing countries specialized on primary exports, but poverty may increase. Uruguay is a net exporter of primary products and a net importer of oil. With the aim of analyzing the impact of soaring commodity prices and policy options, we apply a CGE model and microsimulations.
