It was a momentous occasion for The Institution of Engineers (India) -Karnataka State Centre and National Design & Research Forum (NDRF) when Shri E S L Narasimhan, Hon'ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana visited the NDRF and the State Centre to participate in an Interactive Meet on "Mini Unmanned Systems for National Security and Societal Applications" held on March 2, 2015. Dr L V Muralikrishna Reddy, President, IEl received the Hon'ble Governor. After a brief interactive session with the senior members of the Karnataka State Centre and Board of Governors of NDRF, presided over by Dr L V Muralikrishna Reddy, the Hon'ble Governor witnessed the flying demonstrations of Micro Air Vehicles used for societal applications including the Agriculture Quadcopter, Micro Quadcopter, Mini Quadcopter, Mini Hexacopter, Flapping Wing Micro Air Vehicle, and the Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL) Flapping Wing Micro Air Vehicle.
