摘要

The distribution of water stable soil aggregates, organic matter, microbial nutrients and microbial activity with residue treated plot in croplands were studied. In the residue treated cropland soil, the macro-and micro aggregates were 35.8% and 64.4%, respectively while in the control the corresponding values were 24.8% and 75.2% Both macro-and micro aggregates in residue treated plot had greater amount of organic C and total N compared to the control soil. Greater proportion of associated N and P were immobilized in microbial biomass in micro aggregates than in macro aggregates. Rate of N- Mineralization was higher for macro aggregates and for residue treated plot.
