摘要

Integrated nutrient management (INM) implies the most efficient use and management of organic, inorganic and biological sources of major nutrients as well as micronutrients to attain higher level of crop productivity and to maintain the ferility of the soil. Solanaceous vegetables from most popular and commercially important group of vegetables. Integrated use of organic manures along with chemical fertilizer in these crops not only produced highest and sustainable crop yields but also enhanced the efficiency of added fertilizers as well as fertility status of the soil. Soil properties like bulk density, organic carbon, available N and available P were significantly improved under INM imparting sustainability to the soil. This paper has reviewed theresearch work carried out by various scientists in India and abroad. The review deals with the effect of different INM components on growth, yield, fruit quality, nutrient content and uptake as well as economics of solanaceous vegetables.
