摘要

The stem borer (Chilo suppressalis) damage was simulated artificially in rice and the economic injury level (EIL) was determined at 40, 50 and 60 days after transplanting (DAT). In the presence of natural white ears, the EIL levels were 20.02, 9.7 and 5.19% dead heart at 40, 50 and 60 DAT and the corresponding economic threshold levels (ETL) were 15.15, 7.27 and 3.89% dead heart and in the absence of natural white ears, the EILs were 16.72, 9.88 and 6.04% dead heart and the corresponding ETLs were 12.59, 7.41 and 4.53% dead heart at 40, 50 and 60 DAT, respectively.
