摘要

New azoiminato chealtes of bivalent platinum,(HL~1)_2Pt and (HL~2)_2Pt,have bene synthesized by the reaction of potassium tetrachloroplatinate with 2-(phenylazo) aniline (H_2L~1) and 2-(p-tolylazo) aniline (H_2L~2) respectively.The (HL~1)_2Pt crystalliss in a space group P2_1.The bond parameters are in accordance with the formation of monoanionic azoiminato ligand.As a results of delocalisation in the ligand backbone,the phenyl ring adjacent to the chelate ring is distorted with four long and two short bonds.The UV-vis spectra of the complexes show intense charge transfer transitions at approx 750 nm.IR and ~1H NMR spectra data are consistent with amino proton dissociation from the ligand precursor.The cyclic voltammogram of the complexes exhibit two oxidative responses at potentials approx 0.5 V and approx 1.2 V vs SCE in dichloromethane-acetonitrile mixed solvent.
