摘要

Effect of transplanting of rootstock, time and method of propagation for producing saleable plants within a short period in aonla were studied under low hill conditions of Himachal Pradesh. The studies exhibited a wide variation in growth parameters of aonla. In general, the transplanting done upto 15~(th) July showed substantial vigorous growth of seedlings. The seedlings transplanted on 15~(th) July also recored signifcantly highest budding success (75.42 percent). Further studies on the effect of method of budding and time revealed that Chip method was the best over other methods viz.; Patch and 'T' budding. Chip budding was found to be equally good during spring and rainy season while Patch and 'T' budding were most successful in rainy season.
