Now that KERS (and dear old Mr. Mosley) appear to have fizzled out of the F1 gameplan, it's hard not to feel a sense of told you so. For while the intention to make things more exciting by enabling drivers to pass one another more easily was valid, in reality it achieved the opposite, as far as I could tell. It enabled slower cars to keep faster ones behind, and in at least two races probably spoiled what might have been a closer result.
