THIS SHOULD BE the Mitsubishi Outlander that no one wants. And at the same time, it should be the Outlander than everyone wants. Why? Because it's a petrol, and therefore lacks the mid-range punch of the PSA-engined 2.2 diesel model. And yet it is also the only automatic to emerge so far from the SUV collaboration between Mitsubishi, Peugeot and Citroen.
