HONDA HAS DRAMATICALLY raised the stakes in the hybrid war with the news that it is planning a new four-car hybrid line-up and targeting hybrid sales of 500,000 units per year. Headlining this new hybrid push will be Honda's eagerly awaited new stand-alone hybrid model, shown here in an artist's impression. This is the much-rumoured 'Honda Prius'. It will be launched early next year and may well be previewed at this October's Paris motor show.
