THE CADILLAC CTS is back. But if you're expecting the company to say "this time it's different, we're going to sell bucketloads of Cadillacs in Europe", think again. Cadillac knows that selling 1000 cars a year in Europe would be a result, especially given that this CTS (in its third, BMW 5-series-rivalling generation) comes in left-hand drive only and with just one engine, of the unpopular 2.0-litre petrol turbo sort. It makes 272bhp and drives through a six-speed automatic gearbox.
