摘要

Linseed (Linum usitatissum L.) is an important rabi oilseed crop of Uttar Pradesh, mostly cultivated under marginal/sub-marginal lands and rainfed situations. The productivity of linseed could be increased upto 253 percent (Singh, 2002) with the useof improved package of practices including suitable varieties. The initial slow growth of linseed provides better environment for heavy flush of weeds, which may reduce yield upto 38 percent. The present investigation was carried out with a view to evaluate isoproturon and 2,4-D for weed control in linseed.
