Ipomoea carnea produced toxicity in four natural cases of goats with an elevated rectal temperature and nervous signs including nystagmus, fasciculations, staggering, incoordination and ataxia. Clinical recovery could be recorded in two goats following treatment with injection atropine sulphate, dextrose normal saline and B-complex vitamins (B_1+B_6+B_(12)).
