摘要

Generating competitive advantages by intensified market orientation is directly linked with the design of business processes. Since more than two decades methods and tools are developed to map, structure, and optimize the processes. For many companies the selection of a tool, which corresponds to the respective request, is a Complex decision process. A current study of Fraunhofer IAO examines and evaluates more than 30 tools for business process management. The survey gives a broad market overview of different products and possible fields of application.
