Nanocrystalline titanium diboride (TiB_2) powders were successfully systesized at 650 deg C by using TiCl_4,Mg and MgB_2 as the reactants.Transmission electron microscopy images show that typical TiB_2 as the reactants.Transmission electron microscopy images show that typical TiB_2 crystallites are composed of uniform particles with the average grain size of about 40 nm.
