Complex [Pb(BzImH)_2py(H_2O)_2(NO_3)_2] o (BzImH)_2py o H_2O has been synthesized and characterized by IR-spectrum and CHN-elemental analysis.The crystal structure of this compound consists of monomeric units of [Pb(BzImH)_2py(H_2O)_2(NO_3)_2] o (BzImH)_2py o H_2O.Each lead atom is chelating by the nitrogens of (BzImH)_2py ligand and the oxygen atoms of nitrate anions and also the oxygen atoms of two water molecules.The Pb atom has an nine-coordinate geometry and around lead atoms is hemidirected.
