摘要

A novel two-dimensional sheet cadmium(II)coordination polymer[Cd(mu-3-PyO-N,O)_2(3-PyOH)_2]_n,containing neutral and deprotonated 3-hydroxypyridine ligands has been synthesized and shown to exhibit strong blue fluorescent emission in the solid state.Polynuclear d~(10)metal[Cu(I),Ag(I),Au(I),Zn(II)or Cd(II)]complexes are of growing interest for the study of new bright blue luminescent materials in the development of light emitting diode(LED)technology[1,2],since these complexes been found to exhibit strong emission under UV irradiation and the emission energies can span over a broad spectral range(400-700 nm)[3-5].
