Wont to say,the Democrats may be the opposition,but the Senate is the enemy.Philosophically,the House showers the oil industry with subsidies to encourage more oil and gas production,whether it be deep sea drilling off the outer continental shelf or squeezing more oil and gas out of existing wells.The Senate bill,on the other hand,tends to look more to the Farm Belt for increasing energy supplies through production of biofuels,with a Christmas tree of tax breaks,incentives,grants,subsidies and mandates.
