Results from a long-term monitoring survey of the Rhododendron leafhopper Graphocephala fennahi Young in Perry Woods, Selling, Kent from 1984 to 2016 are presented. Adults were recorded into the second half of December, far later than dates given in standard references. Trend lines indicated G. fennahi occurred on average between 2.3 and 3.9 days later per decade over the study period. Factors affecting these estimates from Kent are discussed and in relation to last occurrence dates reported from continental Europe. One leafhopper from the 2015 Kent cohort was found alive as late as January 2016. A preliminary study failed to find any evidence for the presence of internal parasitoids in adult leafhoppers towards the end of the season.
