Leading laboratory tools and reagent provider Sigma-Aldrich Inc (St Louis, MO) has renamed its Riedel-de Haen line of speciality reagents. The products will now be sold under the Fluka name, while trade names of product groups will be maintained. "This decision was necessary to implement our corporate brand strategy. We want to have a reduced number of core brands with global recognition and invest in promoting them internationally", Sean Battles.
