IDEX Corp (Northbrook, IL), an industrial fluid handling company, has entered into an agreement with Nova Holdings LLC (Woburn, MA), to purchase Nova Technologies Corp (NTC; Huntsville, AL), Nova's flow monitoring and water testing division, created during the company's restructuring in late 2006 (see Instrumenta 24 (1) 17). The cash purchase, which was expected to close by the end of 2007, was valued at approximately 158 million and "is projected to be accretive to IDEX' 2008 earnings", according to IDEX.
