Security sensor company ICx Technologies Inc (Arlington, VA) has acquired advanced video analytics company PureTech Systems Inc (Phoenix, AZ) from its parent. Pure Technologies Ltd. Renamed ICx Vision Systems, the purchase boosts ICx' capabilities for surveillance, and the company said that it expects to incorporate PureTech's technologies, including thermal cameras, surveillance radars and access control devices, into its existing product lines. Puretech was purchased for 3.3 million in cash.
