摘要

The acoustic and vibrational properties of a car are essential criteria for the differentiation among competitors. Nowadays, these properties have to be realised in an efficient process without time and cost intensive iteration loops in the laterstage of a new vehicle development. This can be reached by the simultaneous application of CAE/CAT-methods in the scope of a parallel qualification process of the main vehicle components such as car body, powertrain, axles and auxiliary components withregard to defined component targets.The CAE/CAT-methods which are used at BWM for the acoustic development of the total vehicle are addressed. A typical application is demonstrated on the example of the driveline testbench. Finally the role of the qualification methodology within the entire development process of a new vehicle is discussed.
