摘要

Relationship of relative breeding values (RBVs) of Hariana bulls with age and other productive parameters was studied for the data generated under a progeny testing programme over the last 30 years, Significant and positive relationship of RBVs was observed with TNC, TCR and TMY indicating the importance of number of semen collections, total number of daughters with completed first lactation records and total milk yield of daughters used in evaluation of sire's breeding worth. Fertility of bulls wasfound to be significantly positively associated with AFC, ALC and ATF and significantly negatively associated with TNC, TSV and TMY indicating that for getting better fertility of bulls, total number of semen collections and semen volume should be restricted suitably.
