摘要

The mean surface load of total viable count (TVC) lactobaciHi and those growing on manmtol-salt agar on chilled-stored broiler carcass ranged between 6.70+-1.82 to 7.74+-l.67, 2.54+-0.86 to 3.24+-1.03, and 2.42+-0.78 to 3.82+-1.61 log_(10) cfu/cm~2, respectively. Of the 372 lactobacilli isolates, 13 were identified as Lactobacillus alimentarius, 5 to L.curvatus and 3 to L.sake. L.sake R,_W44 could grow even at 4+-1 deg C. Of the 424 strains growing on mannitol-salt agar, 38 were Gram and catalase positive bacilli and 27 were Gram positive and catalase negative cocci presumably belonging to group D streptococci of Lancefield. Of the remaining 359 isolates, 120 were differentiated into Micrococcas and the remaining 239 to Staphylococcus.
