The Study indicated that broiler chicken were marketed through five channels viz, channel I. Producer - Wholesaler - Retailer - Consumer; channel II. Producer - Wholesaler - Consumer; channel III. Producer -Retailer - Consumer; channel IV. Producer -Consumer; and channel V. Producer - Institutional sale. Producer's profit margin was estimated as 7.10, 7.63, 12.63, 19.43 and 15.00, when birds were marketed through channel I, II, III, IV and V respectively.
