A crossbred heifer aged 2 years, weighing about 200 kg was presented in the Institute Poiyclinic with a history of swelling at the umbilical region since birth. The swelling was increasing in size with the growth of the animal. There was abscess at the umbilicus which was drained and treated by focal veterimarian one month back. However, since last 4-5 days the ingesta was oozing from the swelling. Animal had apparently normal appetite.
