The paper titled "Developing the Reading Skills in English of Students at College Level - A Task-Based Approach" begins with an introduction on the importance of reading skills in academic and professional contexts. The paper discusses briefly the various approaches in language teaching - learning process. It also defines the terms 'task' and 'task-based approach' and lists out the advantages of Task-Based Approach over other approaches. The paper ends with certain innovative suggestions on how reading skills of students at college level can be developed through a Task-Based Approach.
