Records of 49 Holstein Friesian x Hariana F_1 and F_2 haifbred and 21 Jersey x Sahiwal F_1 and F_2 halfbred for reproduction traits maintained at Cattle Breeding Farm, Borgaon Manju pertaining to year 1974-1995 constituted the material for this study.The effect of hybrid was significant for age at first calving and service period, while non-significant for intercalving period. The F, halfbred had significantly lower age at first calving (1356.98 +- 48.78 days) and service period (106.31 +- 10.40 days) than F_2 halfbred i.e. 2000.12 + 97.80 days and 221.25 + 19.06 days, respectively. The results suggested that the F_1 crosses had comparatively better performance than F_2 crosses.
