The objective of the project is to construct a machinery for facilitating pumping of machinery space bilges or waste water/emulsions from any industrial set up like automobile service stations, fabric manufacturing industries. The system combines Flocculation, Coalescence and filtration methods so that effluent coming out of the last stage with have almost colourless, with less than 5 ppm of oil in water, well below the level allowed by IMO regulations for marine applications. This shall also comply with regulations of Pollution control board statutory authorities' requirements for shore based installations for effluent discharges.
