摘要

A nonlinear dynamic model of the stator with PZT (lead zirconate titanate) of a traveling wave ultrasonic motor is established considering the nonlinear constitutive relations of piezoelectric materials using the Hamilton's principle and the Rayleigh-Ritz method. Applying the method of multiple scales, the traveling wave primary resonance of the stator is investigated. Changing the excitation frequency produces multi-solutions and jump phenomena in the primary resonance under given conditions. Numerical results verify the feasibility of the analytical analysis. The results provide a solid foundation for further study of the nonlinear mechanism of the traveling wave ultrasonic motor.
