Outflow of liquids from single outlet vessels has been recently investigated by several authors, such as whalley (1987,1991), Tehrani et al. (1994) and Schmidt & Kubie (1995). In such vessels the quid leaving the vessel through the outlet is repalced by another fluid entering the vessel through the same opening.
