摘要

A new species of nematode Aphelenchoid.es altaicus sp. nov. was extracted from wood of a dead Siberian pine (Pinus sibirica) near Artybash settlement, Altai Republic, Russia. The new species is characterized by a medium body size (406-593 Jim) with four incisures in the lateral field, offset cephalic region, medium-sized stylet (11-12 um long) with well-defined basal swellings, excretory pore situated behind the nerve ring, short tail (23-33 um) with a "star-shaped" mucro. Females have a long post-uterine sac (56-82 urn long) and males strongly curved with Aphelenchoides type spicules (16.0-18.7 um long along dorsal limb). The new species is closely related to the group of Aphelenchoides with a "star-like" mucro, but differs from them in morphological ranges and morphometric differences. A. speciosus Andrassy, 1958 was found on a bark of dead willow tree near Artybash settlement. A description of a female of this species and a redescription of male are presented.
