A field experiment was carried out to assess phytotonic or phytotoxic effects of combinations of insecticides and fungicides at Hadonally village, Doddaballapur (Taluk), Karnataka (State). The treatment sprayedwith mancozeb + thiodicarb combinations exhibited significant differences in terms of yield parameters viz., head weight and head size of cabbage indicating slight phytotonic effect. However, they did not cause any visible phytotoxic symptoms viz., leaf colour change, scorching of leaf, cessation of growth bud and blackening ofmeristem.
