摘要

Sweet potato (Ipomea batatas) is native to the tropical parts of South America. Now cultivated throughout tropical and warm temperate regions wherever there is sufficient water to support their growth. Fusarium wilt is one of the major diseases in sweet potato caused by Fusarium oxysporum. This was controlled by induction of defense related enzymes like peroxidase (PO), polyphenol oxidase (PPO), Phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL), beta-1, 3 glucanase by the inoculation of Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus.
