A Kazakh court has warned local newspapers not to publish anything that could damage prominent businessman Timur Kulibayev after they printed allegations of corruption in an oil deal with the Chinese. Former Energy Minister Mukhtar Ablyazov had sent an open letter - carried by three Kazakh papers - to the Chinese authorities asking them to investigate statecontrolled China National Petroleum Corp's (CNPC) purchase of the Kazakh government's stake in Aktobemunaigas in 2003.
