UK utility Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) has received planning consent for a 260 MW wind farm in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. The 72-turbine West-Rijn project would be the biggest in Dutch wa-ters, helping the country meet its goal of establishing 6 GW of wind farm generation capacity by 2020.
