Faroe Petroleum is ramping up its activity offshore Norway and plans to participate in the drilling of at least six exploration and appraisal wells in the region over the next two years,for which rigs have already been secured.In August,the Marsvin exploration well in PL289(Faroe 14%)is scheduled to spud with the M?rsk Guardian jackup rig.
