2015 will not be fondly remembered by the majority of golfers in the UK, particularly those north of the border. A very slow start to the growing season was followed by one of the wettest summers on record, which presented very challenging conditionsfor golfers and greenkeepers alike. Unfortunately, the wet weather continued into the winter months and November and December saw record levels of rainfall for many parts of the country, bringing with it extensive flooding as rivers struggled to cope with the volume of water and many broke their banks.
