How that FlexRay standardisation in the Communication Controller and physical layer areas has been begun to be established, it is necessary to begin evaluating initial applications. Fujitsu has created a development platform expressly for this purpose. Not only does the FlexRay Evaluation Kit have hardware in the form of a CPU and FlexRay board, but the delivery scope also includes the development platform, a FlexRay Configuration Tool (Fl-exConfig) and the FlexRay software driver (DECOMSYS::COMMSTACK).
