摘要

This article presents a closed linkage forward modeling system for the measurement of geometric form for long shafts and runout errors. It suggests a simple setup method and corresponding measurement technique to compensate for any setup errorsintroduced while accurately gauging shaft parameters. The article introduces kinematic matrices based on the Denavit-Hartenberg (DH) variable separation techniques to account for each of the potential setup errors due to eccentricity and tilt. Themodeling technique is described and the effect of the errors in form on the response of the measurement gauge stylus is analyzed. A measurement technique using the models developed here, which lends itself to automated use, is suggested.
