摘要

Environmentally conscious manufacturing has gained importance in recent years. Several researchers have addressed the issue of assessing environmental impact of different design and manufacturing alternatives. The uncertainty and qualitativenature of environmental variables makes the task of evaluating design and processing alternatives difficult. The goal of this article is to develop a set of efficient procedures for evaluating product and manufacturing process alternatives based onenvironmental considerations. Also, the consensus analysis and sensitivity analysis can be applied to validate the procedures and affix some economic considerations.
