Even if professional engineers put aside the issues of Regulation 305/03 made under Bill 124/02, (also known as BRRAG, and the Eaildirvr Code Statute Law Amendment Art), vvr are still left with a deadline. A deadline for all individuals and companies governed by this regulation to be registered is July 1, 2005. This means passing the appropriate Ontario Building Code (OBC) examinations as set by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH), as well as having the appropriate level of insurance. If engineers were to focus just on the registration requirement of passing these OBC examinations, are we prepared for this deadline?
