Arup received the Supreme Award for Structural Engineering Excellence for the ground-breaking design for Terminal 5, Heathrow at the Structural Awards 2008. Also presented with the Award for Commercial and Retail Structures, Terminal 5 was chosen as the Supreme Winner by the judges from all of the outstanding projects awarded on the night. The 2008 Supreme Award is intended to recognise and celebrate the finest example of structural engineering from the 2008 entries.
