Will the latest anti-discrimination legislation make it a punishable offence to refer to us 'left-handers' as cack-handed? Even as recently as the mid-20th century British school-children were actively discouraged from writing with their left hand and, just a generation before that, they were liable to a smack across the knuckles to provide further encouragement to write 'properly'. In this computer-age I still find the need to write things down or sketch out ideas before reaching for the CAD system as, I suspect, do many other design engineers.
