Our Annual General Meeting held April 18 to 21, 2002 was a good opportunity for many to put a face to the voices we hear on the end of the phone. It was also a chance to get a good overview of work being done at all levels within the association and an idea about national concerns. Coverage of the theme sessions, annual business meeting and Council meeting will follow in the June/July e issue of The Link, but this seemed like a good opportunity to look at some of the issues the other associations introduced in the National/Provincial Associations Update. The presentations were brief, but they surfaced some issues we deal with here in Ontario with which others are also dealing, as well as issues that seem to depend on the size of the association. Perhaps they'll get you thinking about articles you would like to see (or write) for upcoming issues of Engineering Dimensions, or themes you would like to see on our 2003 Editorial Calendar.
