Prime Minister Modi who commenced and ended his speech with a resonating 'Jai Jagannath', in his address described Rourkela as the town which has given India the strength of steel. He went on to add that Rourkela Steel Plant plays a key role in the Nation's defence and said, "However strong the enemy might be, the strength to fight him comes from the fact that our soldier is standing in a strong Tank which is made by using the strong steel produced at Rourkela. When a soldier guards our mother India in the Himalayas standing in Tanks, then your efforts also play a vital role in his success."
