With production of its primary platform, the F-22 Raptor, coming to an end in 2012, production of the ALR-92 will also be ceasing. There is little export potential for the F-22, as the advanced aircraft is barred by law from sales outside the United States. The ALR-94(V) EW suite supports the F-22 Raptor's ability to penetrate enemy airspace and achieve first-look, first-kill capability against multiple targets. Its passive operation prevents the Raptor's avionics from working against the aircraft's stealth capabilities.
