The present study was carried out to evaluate the efficacy of certain hormonal treatment protocols for augmenting the conception rate. Following artificial insemination during spontaneous estrus of repeat breeding cows yielded a conception rate of only 33.33 % and this could not be improved if they were treated intramuscularly with oxytocin or intrauterine PGF_(2a) immediately after artificial insemination.
